Who is French as a foreign language for ?

For all the children from the pre-school admission age to Grade 5. After that they need to have a A2 level (CECRL) for middle and high school.

Who teaches French as a foreign Language ?

Teacher specializing in teaching French as a Foreign Language, or FLE (Français Langue Etrangère). Pays attention to every student, helps them and apply an individual approach in order to reveal their full potential.

What is FLE for ?

Due to FLE, non-francophone students may continue their studies in France or in another French-speaking country. Also, they can work with French people and broaden their competencies in terms of culture.

What do FLE lessons look like ?

During FLE course, the teacher sets out clear goals :

• Priority of speaking and phonetics.
• Practice of communicative situations.
• Teaching native speakers’ the French style of living.
• Multilingual and multicultural education.

Intensive French lessons are offered at the beginning of school year, in order to provide the new student all the tools to receive a French education. Thus, the hourly volume will decrease as the student progresses, until he or she can fully follow all the subjects in the French Programme.
