Primary school presentation

Primary school includes children aged between 6 and 11 years old. Mastery of the French language and the first elements of mathematics are the main objectives of elementary school to enable students to access the fundamental tools of knowledge.

Education cycles

Cycled structure of education, allows us to take into account students’ progress and needs to facilitate their development and obtaining competencies.

Pre-school is a cycle in its own right.

Cycle 2 consists of Cours Préparatoire (grade 1), Cours Élémentaire 1ère année (Grade 2), Cours Élémentaire 2ème année (Grade 3).

Cycle 3 comprises of the last two grades of primary school Cours Moyen 1ère année (Grade 4) and Cours Moyen 2ème année (Grade 5) in collaboration with Grade 6 to evolve best continuity between school and college.

Learning at primary school ensures acquisition of fundamental educational skills: reading, writing, counting and mutual respect of others.

Primary school contacts:

Children are surrounded by specialists in different educational fields who ensure students’ learning, progress and safety.

School Principal performs administrative and pedagogical duties.

School teachers, polyvalent teachers, they can teach in primary school, starting from the first year of pre-school to the last year of primary school (CM2).
