The CP pupils were engaged with their school mates from Miras grade 1 in an artistic and scientific project about “Houses around the World”.
Judith, Marie, Noam and Vadim chose to create the model of a fortified castle.
This kind of building appeared everywhere in France during the Middle Ages. It had a double role, it was of course the house of the lord and his family, but also a refuge for the nearby villagers in case of an enemy attack.
The pupils painted, drew, cut out, and assembled using cardboard and string in order to create a great model.
The models of all the groups were presented on Tuesday the 25th of April to the parents, students and teachers of the school.
The pupils sang and recited.
It was a wonderful project full of sharing and new learning.
