Language in Pre school

How does your child learn to speak?

Oral language is the cornerstone of preschool learning.

The child expresses himself and makes himself understood through language. Every day, he acquires new words in the exchanges with the teacher and his classmates.

Growing up with two languages at home.

Speaking a language other than French at home is not an obstacle to learning French at school, but a source of wealth. It is possible for a young child to easily learn two languages at the same time.

What your child will have learned by the end of kindergarten?

By the end of kindergarten your child will be able to understand the messages and act or respond in a relevant way. He or she also knows how to accurately name an object, person, an action in everyday life. In turn, he or she can formulate a description or a question in order to be understood. He or she can retell a real-life episode or, a fictional story or take the initiative and ask a question or express their point of view.

The pre-school encourages, through language learning, a flourishing education where your child gains independence and learns to open up to others.
